I saw grand ole party at sxsw and was instantly a fan. Grand ole party was a three piece band formed in santa cruz california consisting of singer drummer kristin gundred guitarist john paul labno and bassist michael krechnyak they began recording their debut album shortly after moving to san diego california in mid 2006 relocating from the san francisco area. I was skeptical of purchasing cds online but it was a new cd just like they advertised and at a great price. Would definitely buy from this vendor again.

The album was engineered by jason cupp at eldorado recording studios and produced by blake sennett of rilo kiley and the elected. In 2007 they were voted best alternative artist by the san diego music awards and also released humanimals. Humanimals is the debut album released by san diego based alternative rock band grand ole party it was released on august 7 2007 on itunes and was released on dh records february 5 2008.
